Do I need the Desktop version?

No. The PlanGuru App is a browser-based solution and does not require the desktop application.

The PlanGuru App and PlanGuru Desktop offer some similar budgeting and forecasting capabilities, but they are separate products built on different platforms. Data is not shared or synchronized between the two versions, so new customers are generally encouraged to use the browser-based PlanGuru App, because it has more powerful features.
